We are delighted to meeting HCA students this week as we are supporting Students Volunteering Week 2019. Hereford College of Arts have partnered with ECHO to offer their students an insight into the benefits of volunteering.
As an organisation we are proud to have 100 people helping across all our activities and making a real difference to the people we support. Every extra pair of hands, every extra hour of help is greatly appreciated.
New volunteers are always welcome and there are many ways to help. You don’t have to make a huge commitment, we have a robust recruiting process that ensures you are fully supported into a volunteering role that is going to be a rewarding experience.
You don’t need prior knowledge of working with people with additional needs, we will help you at every stage. Plus there are many volunteering roles behind the scenes in addition to our 28 fantastic projects. Something for everyone.
There is a lot to be gained from a volunteering role and you are welcome to have an informal chat with our Volunteer Co-ordinators to find out more.
