QAVS, the Queens Award for Voluntary Service has been awarded to Leominster in Bloom.
This honour is given to voluntary groups who demonstrate exceptional community service and is the group equivalent of an MBE for an individual.
The award was announced in June and presented at a special ceremony at Grange Court in Leominster last week.
Leominster in Bloom invited ECHO to be part of the ceremony to thank them for their support. Cath and Sarah attended for Eaton Barn and Julie went along to represent Clever Betsy.
The award was presented to Leominster in Bloom by Lady Darnley. She is the Lord Lieutentant for Herefordshire and represents the Queen.
