Eaton Barn has received a donation of £2500 from Kim’s parents Christine and Les Powell. They organised a series of fundraising events for the project, including a jailbreak, karaoke night and sponsored tricycle ride, all in fancy dress!
The cheque was presented at a Coffee and Cakes afternoon which was attended by participants, staff, volunteers and representatives from local businesses. The donation will help to pay for a large gazebo which will be used as an outdoor classroom so that the project can offer more activities such as courses and events and involve other local groups and schools.
