There is much excitement about the premiere event in ECHO’s diary this summer: ECHOfest is back, in a new venue and promises to be a truly memorable day.
So, what is ECHOfest? Well, first off it’s a music festival, with a range of live bands and artists performing from the early afternoon through to the late evening, with music varying from classic rock to reggae, blues, folk and pop.
It’s a family day out with a programme of activities and workshops, hot food, a licensed bar, all in the beautiful surroundings of Dom’s Bike Stop.
What else? There is an acoustic area for those who play but aren’t on the main programme – if you play an instrument that doesn’t need amplification, bring it along and help create the atmosphere.
There will also be s shuttle bus between Leominster bus & train stations and the festival site during the afternoon and evening – contact the ECHO office for the timetable
As the evening progresses we will have an after-fest party, sitting round the camp fire, playing music and enjoying the summer’s evening.
For those who wish to, camping is available by arrangement – anyone needing support should make sure they provide that as ECHO will not be on duty after 11pm! Again, contact the ECHO office to book.
Finally, to ensure ECHOfest is a truly accessible festival, we will be joined by the Mobiloo, providing fully accessible changing and toilet facilities.
So what’s not to like? All this for £15 for Adults, £7.50 for under 18s, whilst under 5s go free. Contact the ECHO office to buy your ticket and make sure you don’t miss out – it’s going to be a blast!
