The participants also fitted in a flag dance and a yoga session. ECHO’s new logo was also unveiled, to unanimous approval.
The chairman of Herefordshire Council, Cllr Brian Wilcox, attended and said: “It was a privilege to be invited along to ECHO’s AGM and meet so many of the volunteers, staff and participants. I was impressed by the ethos and general atmosphere of the whole occasion.
“The participants obviously enjoyed the whole event, many of them taking an effective active part.
“My congratulations to everyone involve, and my best wishes for ECHO’s future success”.
Chair of ECHO, Jocelyn Hughes, added the charity is proud of how it involves disabled participants in all aspects of running the organisation.
“Tonight’s event demonstrated the positive ways in which people can feel real ownership of ECHO and what we do,” she said.
